The Umrah is a pilgrimage which is performed by Muslims from all over the world. It is not necessary for everyone to perform but only those who have the resources to go for the journey. Umrah can be performed at any time of the year. For some people who are not medically so fit and older in age, it is best to come in the season when there is a less or moderate rush of other pilgrims.

The residency: on reaching Mecca your duration of stay is limited. The hostel which is by default booked is very expensive by looks but in actual it is not expensive. But the distance of the hotel from the Haram is more than the one which is booked in an expensive umrah package.
The transport: on a cheaper umrah package you have to arrange for the transport for moving to haram from the hotel and vice versa. Same is the case when you will be in Medina.
Time: of course, when a pilgrim will be near to the holy places, he will have more time to pray perform other holy rituals.
Actually, we have seen people who are closer to the Haram and Majid a Nabvi but don’t bother to pray as much as the people who are comparatively far from these places can. Mostly the pilgrims of far off hotels come to Haram in the morning and try to stay there as long as they can to be close to the Almighty Allah.
